I know its not a good idea or even possible to sync file from citrix to a remote client, but is there any way to do this? client wants to download files to their local machine so they can work on planes etc.

thanks

In citrix you can also add your local disks. it will show in explorer as (example):

WTSRV (C:)
FILESERVER (G:)
C on Client (V:)
etc etc..

Depends how big the files are, really, whether you've got client drive mapping enabled and how fast your network connection is.

If you're talking about large files, then ftp is quicker.

Thanks all! The files are relitively small so the client mapping may be the way to go. Can you give me some suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Thanks for your responses!

CDM is enabled by default on the server.

Which clients are being used?

Windows clients should automagically see their client drives in Explorer. CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk
