/ file system full on AIX

I have'nt come across this situatiom myself. Will AIX (4.3.3) boot OK if the / file system was full prior to the crash.
 
Hi,

U can start the system in failsafe mode session but u will not be able to login to cde session.login to failsafe session and make some free space on root filesystem.

no it wouldnt,the other option if you cannot get into the system is you have to boot into maintenance mode and then mount the filesystem and then increase it,once you have done this reboot it and it should be fine
