I have an instance of NNM 6.41 on HP-UX 11.11 environment.
The file
/var/opt/OV/share/databases/analysis/default/solid.db
is very huge (almost 2 GB for 19 nodes and 114 interfaces managed) and I don't know:
1) what does it mean?
2) what is the menu item in NNM forms I have to use to configure this file? or is there a command to run from command line?

Please, can anyone tell me any suggestions?

Thank you

adige,

Go to this HP site:

"
and grab a PDF file called "Reporting and Data Analysis with Network Node Manager". This document (while I haven't read it in depth) does address performance and database tuning for the solid.db.

Please let me know if this is helpful. I would also like to know if it doesn't help you at all.

Cheers,

Larry Moon

Sorry,

I should have also told you that you need to go to the NNM link then to the product manuals link.

Sorry bout that :)
