We have 2 laptops, one with WinXP, one with WinME. I'm familiar with XP, but not all that familiar with WinME.

We're using a hub that's connected to another hub, and from there, i'm not sure - probably the server or router.

I started on the XP computer & made a network setup disk & ran that on the ME computer. I tried mapping the drives from both computers, but have had no luck. They're not seeing each other. Any advice?
I'm trying to share files, so we don't have to use floppy disks.

Try using a host file.. also do you have the basic TCP/IP configurations made? If the two machines are not looking at the same subnet they won't see each other. Basic NETBIOS browsing should allow for basic visability. As for sharing the directories between the two.. well that is a basic file/dir sharing question that it sounds like you've already addressed.
