Hi All

I have two domain controllers running on my network, both have Active Directory and users running. The replication between the two servers isnt working and this event is continously being logged in the event viewer. The clocks on both systems are telling the same time. What could be the problem?

Event Id: 213
Source: License Service
Description: Replication of license service information failed because the License Logging service on the (server name which is the PDC) could not be contacted.

Thanks for your help.

check this:

When the License Logging Service, on a licensing server, can not replicate to the License Master server, the event log contains:

Event ID: 213
Source: License Manager
Description: Replication of license information failed because the
license logging service on server could not be contacted. This is normally the result of a communications problem on your network. The License Logging Service must be able to establish a RPC connection with the License Master server.
If you can't find the problem, here is what Microsoft recommends in Q198132, when this happens on your Windows NT or Windows 2000 network:

"To work around this issue and prevent the error messages from being written to Event Viewer, you can stop the LLS. To do this click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Services. Double-click License Logging Service, click Disabled, click OK, and then click Close. "

hope it helps

Everytime I go to print I get the error the RPC is unavailable. I can browse the network by ip addresses by not via the unc name e.g. \\servername. I changed the network cables, I also changed the network cards and the same problem is occuring. What am I missing?

Thanks alot for your help
