File Names During Upload

I have a problem that I can not seem to figure out. When I updated my site and tried to publish the changes here's what happens.

The first couple of changed pages will load and then the
"processing" will start. I will then get an error message such as ".articles_1.htm.tmp" will not write or is not available to write .... something to that effect.

This is not the name of the file listed in the Front Page page view menu. It lists as articles_1.htm

I have also tried republishing the entire site, same thing happens. It stops loading after a couple of pages and tries to start processing. The error is not always with the same page each time. In other words it is not always with the first alphabetical page.

I use FP 2000 and this is not a new web. I have updated it numerous times successfully. This problem just started last night.

Any suggestions?

This is a guess:
Have you tried closing FP, deleting your FP TEMP files then opening FP and trying to publish?

I have a similar problem that happens at the same time you stated, except the message is ".riched20.dll.tmp is not available to write."

It used to work fine.

I don't know if you've found the answer to this or not, but when I have had the issue (and yes, I have on a number of occassions), it has been a problem with the server that was hosting the site. They had a virus that was writing data to the drive that my site was on and filling up the space. This may or may not be your issue, but it's worth checking out!
