how do i show the following info in a multiline textbox from a file myappend.dat?

PAID:$444.00
DATE:11-2-2002
TOTAL:$2,375.00

TOTAL:$3,263.00

Maybe if you attach the cr and line feed characters to the end of each line - chr(10) & chr(13)?

As TomKane said but you can use the vb constant 'vbCRLF'

text1="PAID:$444.00" & vbCRLF & "DATE:11-2-2002" & vbcrlf & "TOTAL:$2,375.00"
