Hi there,

I have installed win2000 in my c: partition with NTFS. My D partition is FAT32. I had some important document file in D. Now I can't find the file there. It looks like nothing is there in D: now. I did not do any formatting with D partition.

Can Someone help. It's very important for me.

Thanks
Jay.

hi jay

Did u create a new partition when installing win2k ??
Try to look for some file recovery software especially norton utilities on the web.

Let me know

Rocky

Hi Rocky,

I had two partition C: & D: with one single physical disk. Win98 was installed before. When installed win2000, I opted for NTFS for the c: partition.

I did not create any new partition during installing.

I just have one OS win2000.

Thanks

Jay
