Hi all,
I have 120GB of images in .fit format (not that important). I know that when i compress these files (using winzip for example) i get a compression ratio of 63%). I must back up the 120GB but would also like to compress. Does anyone know how i might write a script to compress the images?? any help would be much obliged.
Thanks in advance

Winzip has a commandline tool available through their website, you can write a script to loop through your folders and write a line with a commandline command into batchfile.

The gap between theory and practice is not as wide in theory as it is in practice.

hi TerraSamba,
