I have just installed Photoshop 7.0 on a Windows XP Pro machine. When I launch file browser the folder tree view just has one folder in it which takes you back to the desktop and the file information frame doesn't display file information.

I can navigate using the right hand pane by double clicking on a folder to find a file but if I try and access my CD or floppy drive I am taken back to the desktop.

Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks

Are you having trouble with the folder tree in all of your applications, or just PhotoShop? It's sounds like a corrupt COM object (I had a similiar issue which was very similiar, but with a different COM object). If you are having trouble with all of your applications, I would try an OS repair- otherwise, I would reinstall PhotoShop.

Hope it helps

Yea, i think it's me, after one accident in the school library, a huge desk wasn't bolted very good to the wall, and it fell right on my head (really hurts), while i was on the computer stuffing around the ---take care---
