is it possible to mail files as an attachment, to a folder or even into the database (MS Access) on the server? The mailmodule on the server is ASPmail.

You could send the file attachment with ASPMail, but not receive the mail and save the file attachment. You would need another component to be able to read the mail.

Do you need to have them come via email? There are many file upload components (we use SAFileUP, but there are others, too) that you could use in conjunction with a form and have them submit the file using a form instead of emailing it. And if you needed the file also emailed to someone, you could output an email message from the form also, with the file attachment.

If that could be an option, let us know and we can provide further assistance if needed. Do you currently have a file upload component available?

Hi there lobstah,

I really apreciate your helpful attitude! I don't know yet which ASP components (apart from ASPmail) that are accessable on the server. I've mailed their webmaster and will hopefully soon find out.
I want to create the possibility to upload files, create and browse folders within a limited hierarchy. With the apropriate components that's possible, right?
