I cannot read a lot of the fonts... infact, i cannot read what I am typing right now! It is WAY too small, and the text is all distortedt and stuff... Looks absolutely horific...

If anyone can PLEASE help me, I encourage you to do so.... =)

TIA

p.s. mouse scroll doesn't work when file/web browsing.... or at all. and I set it up to use scroll during installation!

Which distribution of Linux are you using, and which desktop, and which browser?

Are you using Netscape?
Netscape is very bad I think. you can change the font size in
the options but half the time nothing works.

I also have Mandrake 8.1 and I use GNOME as my windows and
whatever its Browser is, it works great everything looks the same as Internet Explorer does in windows.

To change fonts in Netscape click edit and then preferences and choose fonts, this will allow you to change size and style.

To get your scrolling wheel to work you need to edit your XF86config file, usually in /etc/X11 (if not try locate or find) to the following :

Section "InputDevice"
Driver "mouse"
Identifier "Mouse[0]"
Option "ButtonNumber" "5"
Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
Option "InputFashion" "Mouse"
Option "Name" "INTELLIPOINT MOUSE PS/2"
Option "Protocol" "imps/2"
Option "Vendor" "MICROSOFT"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection

Make a backup of your original file first.
Best way maybe is to copy the XF86config to XF86config-new then edit-new and then mv .

Hope this helps :)
