Fields for Year-To-Date data

I'm trying to incorporate the Monthly sales data as well as the Year-To-date (YTD) sales data in one report.<br>

How do I get the YTD data to correspond to the filter which I have set (e.g. TRANSDATE is between 010100 to 300600)?<br>

And is there an available YTD field or do I need to create a formula for it?<br>

If you right click on the field you want a y-t-d total for you can choose 'Grand total'. CR will put this field in the report footer.
