I am trying to publish a report to Word. One of the fields is being truncated somewhere in the publishing process. The can grow property is set to yes. I have tried it with both a text field and memo fields.

Has anyone had this problem before? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
You know, it's werid. I have problems exporting crap from access all the time. I had an interesting instance where only one reccord was exported into an entire column in excel. Maybe you have to much going on all at once. That's usually my problem. But, that's really just a guess. Could you give a few more details? =)

With more research and help from another user, it appears to be some kind of access bug when exporting to an RTF file. Changing the keep together property on the report helped, but didn't solve the problem. When the same report is sent to a txt file no data is lost.

Hi,

I am experiencing the same problem. I was having the report publish to word from a control box on a form. In the report form, the entire memo field shows, but when I publish to word directly from the report or from the control box on the form, it gets truncated.

I was getting the truncation in text as well. Is the keep together property for the field, the Detail Section, or the report section? I have "yes" on Keep together in properties for Detail, but I don't get a Keep Together option for the field.

It's been a long while since this thread began. Anyone else figure out how to dix it?

Thanks, Bertie.
