field repeat when other fields are added

Here is what my original report looks like

Part #: XXXXX
On-hand 10
job#1 -3
job#2 -5
Subtotal 2

Now when I add another field which is to see if we have any more parts coming the job field repeats it self. The new report look like this
Part #: XXXXX
on-hand 10
PO # XX 3
job#1 -3
job#1 -3
job#1 -3
job#1 -3
job#2 -5
job#2 -5
Subtotal -9

Can some body tell me how to eliminate the repeat problem.

Instead of using an inserted summary, insert a running total that sums {table.qty}, evaluates on change of field: job#, and resets on change of group (or never for a report level summary).

That will will give a correct subtotal but the overall report will be really long and confusing. Is there any way I can set the function that if job# or parts_required remain same do not print and do not leave any empty space.
 
You could suppress in the section expert->details->suppress->x+2:

{table.job#} = previous({table.job#})

Also format the details section to "suppress blank section".

You would still need to use the running total though.
