Field mapping upon import

Hello.

I wish to import data from an outside source (CSV/XLS/DBF) into an existing table. However, the order of the imported fields do not match the existing table.

Is there a way to map the imported fields to an existing table for the import/append operation?

Why not importing your external data into a temporary table and then play with an append query ?
