I have a field inside a report that is formatted in the following way:

[Add1]
[Add2]
[City][State][Zip]
This is fine for the report. But when it is exported I need to format it like this:[Add1][Add2][City][State][Zip]
with each field in it's own column. Is this possible andd how could I go about this?

The only way I can see is to have two alternative layouts, maybe different sections controlled by a report parameter. USe one version for the report and change to the other before exporting.

It helps to give your Crystal version - 8, 8.5, 9, 10, 11 or whatever. Methods change between versions, and higher versions have extra options.

how do I go about change to the other version before exporting?

Insert a second detail section with the horizontal layout. Then create a parameter {?export} with options "Yes" and "No". In the section expert, format each section to suppress based on which options is selected, e.g.,

{?export} = "No"
