Hey--I picked up a fiberglass fish tape--I think originally it was 200ft -- however it got caught and had to be cut (only lost about 25 feet) however there is no leader or leader ball on the end.

Anyone ever replaced one or know if you can? Seems like I would have to use some type of apoxy or something that would grip the end like a chinese finger trap.

Thanks

i think they have a coating on them so you would have to sand first then any good epoxy should work.

what brand is it ?

I would contact the maker and see if they have a repair kit

Ideal has a "Field Application Kit" that has the tools and adhesive required to repair their S-Class and Zoom series fiberglass tapes. It also comes with replacement eyelets and leaders. Part number is 31-156. Most electrical distributors should be able to get it for you.
