Fiber Extender Red Light

I have a problem with a DTI fiber extender that is used to extender a MICS 0x16 module to another building via a multi mode fiber backbone. There are two of these. One is working ok with both green lights on the LOCAL and REMOTE. The second one has a green light on the right side of the REMOTE. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

swap to determine if its extender
if yes-return/replace
if no-reterm fiber
could also check station module

Pretty much retired from telecom and now grow and sell perennials from April-November and Ski from Nov-April
