fiber cable length question

I have a backboard space problem with a large networked mics installation.


is it possible to exceed the standard length of a nortel fiber cable run from a mics cabinet to an 0x16 module. Lets say about 25 feet?

I think the next size spool is 30 feet.

50' is my guess, any further then you would need extenders.

I see that the end terminations are male. I have not worked with fiber except with Nortel. Do you know if these connectors are industry standard and can i get premade cables from an online seller?
