From DES, I know it is for xxx-367-3344. When I call this number, I can see the call comes in at a trunk of route 450. Below is the DCH message:

DCH 54 OMSG SETUP REF 00000044 CH 139 20 TOD 11:12:10
CALLING #:xxx2768400 NUM PLAN: E164/NATIONAL / NPA
CALLED #:xxx3673344 NUM PLAN: E164/NATIONAL / NPA

DCH 54 IMSG CALLPROC REF 00000044 CH 139 20 TOD 11:12:10

CALLING #: NUM PLAN: E164/NATIONAL / NPA
CALLED #:2046 NUM PLAN: E164/SUBSCRIBER (NXX)/LOCL

Then at IDC table 25, I can see 2046 IDC to 83178, as below:

DCNO 25
IDGT CDGT
2046 83178

Everything looks fine, except I don't know how xxx-367-3344 becomes 2046. Did I missed anything? Or this change is done at CO?

If it is done at CO, how route 450 knows which SVRT to choose? Below is the print of RDB 450:

Would anyone please shed some lights on this? Thanks so much...

Look at the individual channels for this route, look at ATDN prompt to see if that reflects the number you are seeing.

Thanks trvlr1.

Route 422 itself has no channel. It is the service route of route 450. And no ATDN.

ROUT 422

TYPE TLST
TKTP FEX
ROUT 422
DES xxx/367-3344

The part I don't know is how the call knows to choose route 422 rather than other service routes? And how xxx-367-3344 becomes 2046?
