Hi there..
Can someone advise me on how I can feed new lines to my crystal report 8.5?

Currently, I have a report which shows some course details signed up by a customer which prints out on a customer card. As a customer may sign up for different courses at different times, therefore, i need the report to do a count of the total number of courses and then linefeed that number of lines down the report... so that the next new course signed up can be printed nicely in the next row on the customer card.

Can someone tell me how I can force crystal report to add new lines into it?
Thanks. :)

I have a card, which I'm supposed to print out every transaction whenever the customer comes for a treatment.
Lets say this is the 3rd time the customer is here for treatment, in the card itself, it will have 2 lines reflecting the services requested by the customer in the previous treatments.

treatment1......service.......price
treatment2......service.......price

So when the customer is here for the 3rd time, I need cr to auotmatically count which treatment is it.. and then force line feed...so that the treatment3 can be printed on the 3rd line...

treatment1......service.......price
treatment2......service.......price
treatment3......service.......price

Pls help..quite urgent.. :(

Right ok, so you only want to append new data on to an existing report (Customer Card).

One way would be to place the detail fields in a customer group footer as well as the details section. This will display the last line of details in the group footer. The Suppress the fields in the details section.

This way the details section will still grow depending on the number of lines of detail, but only the last record will print in the group footer.

ThankS!!! Will try out this method..
Right now.. I made do with it.. by sending the linefeed from VB to the printer.. not a very efficient method I must say.... but enough to get everything running for the time being....

Will try out ur method later.. :)
THANks!
