OK heres my rant!

When will Avaya make the IP Office manager a lot easier to use on the field?

What i mean is im going through an 182 user IP500 install with the users using 5410's. Default install gives the phones 3 CA. User rights will only take me so far. I can take the 3rd CA key out. and give particular hunt group members other buttons like Member pickup etc. But i still find i have to go to each user and still set things like Reserve last CA or keep on clicking no to "clear busy on held" 180 odd is a lot of "nos" to be clicking on. Ive left the busy on held on for a reason. i dont want prompting to take it off!

why cant the manager app have a windows group policy type of inteface. whereas you can set up policies based on what the group member needs and then assign users to the group. With everything done in one fell swoop!

I have a barristers office with different departments and different duties on each floor. Each floor has different pickups and HG enables. I put users in the membership of the user rights. but still have to go and edit the 20 or so users maually to put particular tick marks back in. doubling up my time.

It really annoys me when i look forward to a new release to find its hardly no different to the previous firmware/software release. come on Avaya.. how hard can it be?

Rant over... i need a drink!
