Before updating our software to 2002 I was looking for some feeback from users who have migrated to ver. 2002. Any bugs, quirks? Did the update go smoothly?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Just upgraded to Peachtree Complete Accounting 2002 from Version 4.0 (Batch 5.0).
Problem 1. All of the various sizes of fonts in my forms that were converted increased in size! That is, the arial true type font object whose properties state 12pt. have been reassigned as 14 pt., etc. The increase is ocurring at what seems to proportional changes in ratio to it's stated size. This is happening in your application only - all of my other programs are working fine.
Problem 2. Cannot import price levels above 5 into customer list.
I had a similar problem going from complete 7 to 8. A number of forms that I had created, invoices, custom reports, etc. changed font size. I had to redesign them all to adjust the font. I called Peachtree support and they told me it was a printer driver problem. I doubt that is the case as I had all the most recent drivers for all the printers on the network. I never have figured out exactly what the problem was. It was random,,some forms were OK, others were all out of whack. And for any custom designed forms, Peachtree offers no support. Anyway, I went in and redisgned all the ones that had problems and we were back up and running.
