We currently have a few very active virtual tenants that are across the country. These companies receive 2, 3 maybe 4 calls simultaneously. With our Nortel system, it will not forward calls externally to within 2 seconds (the minimum settings on Nortel). In other words, the first call comes in, it get forwarded to the correct place. The second call comes in, whether it's simultaneous or within 2 seconds, it gets forwarded to default attendant.

Please let me know if this can be done and how.

if you use maxp 1 acd to forward you'll stop that..

if i dial ld i get ringback before i move my finger off of the last digit.. i can cfxa just as fast.. the only exception is cell phones.. they don't switch that fast.. but if bars is set up right cfxa works much faster... if i cfxa (ld) my 3903 i can not force a busy.. it's set up with a single mcr on keys 0 and 1..

but that is not station programming, but back in network

I dont follow the answer. I did phantom number, create a phone an forward it and i am having the same problem. CFXA is always on. I have an option 51 and a 11 FYI...

instead of a phantom number try a maxp 1 acd..

ld 23
new
acd
1234
maxp 1
ncfw 918005551212

ignore the rest of the prompts.. dial 1234 it should hit 91800 as fast as you can dial it

that will work. BUT what happen is the call is coming from the outside? like dialing from your cell phone dialing XXX XXX 1234.

works every time... internal or external... if the call is going to a cell then good luck... let your provider know that there network sucks...

when i dial my cell number 7 to 15 seconds switch time.. it's almost impossible to slow a real switch down to wait for a cell network..

we have doctors practice's here that moved off the switch to new offices.. all there calls follow then via a maxp 1 acd.. and they get 1000's of calls per day..

the reason they kept there did's was because of the menus and after hours options... plus the number has been published for a decade or more

Here is what I have. Lets say the number is 800 888 2734.
If three of my staff dial 800 888 2734 at the same time from their cell phone or 1 second apart, 2 of them get to the receptionist and 1 call will go through.

and the same thing happens if you dial 2734?

how many trunks are in the trunk group you use for outbound 1800>?

There would be no receiving phone for an acd of maxp1 to forward the calls.

i dont have access to the receiving PBX. they have their own number with few receptionist and it works great if dialed directly.

The receiving end is what I was refering to above, and you have addressed that. With the ACD NCFW as JP has shown above, you would be limited by the number of inbound/outbound trunk at the forwarding site, as well as the far end. If the receiving end receives 3 simultaneous calls, does it process them correctly? That is how it should perceive calls from the Nortel. When using the ACD Q as above the Nortel won't care how many simultaneous calls it gets.

Your trunks can be printed in LD 21. to get a listing of them, use LTM at the REQ prompt.
