NEC 2400 - My company constantly have people moving around.
Is there any easier way to move the extensions?
Is there a code in NEC 2400 system that I can import and export a station, with out going to the panel and move the cross connect wires?

There is no set relocation on a 2400. Time for a new punch tool..........

command CSTN:

Move telephone 1234 from Jack 12 to jack 13

Jack 13 has a telephone just delete it (ASDT) and use the above command... you can program jack 13 phone by using the old LEN from ext 1234 this good for Users swamping offices.

Make sure youget Both LEN numbers.. I hope this helps!!! I use this all the time when I move folks!

If you are going to do that i suggest you have a spare digital len and a spare analogue len and do three way swaps. That way you don't have to recreate the first one each time. The digital one is for when swapping digitals and the analogue for swapping analogues, I'm not suggesting swapping analogue with digital.
