Still screwing around with my poor man's CCR, and am almost done. I just realized that I cannot interupt a caller in voicemail; feature 987 says 'not allowed'.
What should I look for? I don't see anything in the callpilot 150 config on this...
Andy

I looked in class of service, but I don't see anything about this...

sorry my bad (i read the 7 as a 9)...
is the user interface NVM?

Nope, callpilot. Is this the problem? I can change it if need be..
Andy

Dosnt the call have to be in progress going to a mail box and for you to interrupt it you would have to be on that same phone where that mail box is.

Feature 987 will only work when the caller is listening to the greeting. Once the tone to record the message is played Interupt becomes inactive "Not allowed"

Ok,
I'm back. something is screwy here; F987 does not work no matter what I do. I've tried to interupt during the message, during the recording, as soon as the caller gets transferred BEFORE they hear the message, nothing works.
Any ideas?
Andy

Are you sure F987 is correct code, do F9*1 to verify codes

Also you can program F987 or whatever the correct code is to a memory button that has an indicator. It will flash when interrupt is allowed.

NVM or CP interface makes no difference

Well,
no such luck yet. F987 is innterupt, and I programmed it into a button to see if it blinked during a VM to my DN. No blink at any time, and all I get is 'not allowed' when I try to use it. I assume the problem is in the callpilot, but I'm not sure. Is there a class of service setting that I am missing, or could this have something to do with the system program?
Andy

What telephone set have you programmed F987 to?
What button number did you program it to? on a T series phone, on earlier versions of software the buttons were weirdo...This may be why you cannot see the flashing...
How many intercom buttons do you have programmed to that set?

Hey Telgirl!
ok, here we go...
phones are T7316. there are two intercom buttons on all phones, and 4 phone lines. I programmed F987 to the 3rd button down on the lower left side (don't know what number that is)...
the telephone set is DN 241, and we are trying to send a vm to that MB.
Does that help?
Andy

are you dialing into the system using a line and transferring to extension 241 or are you using F980 to leave a message or are you using the intercom + 241 to reach the VM?

Can you program Feature 987 to be a button right above your intercom buttons (just for this test)...is there flashing?

You can interrupt after the tone and retrieve caller.
This tests fine in my lab.
You cannot interrupt (f987) when using express messaging code f980. The call must be forwarded to voicemail by ringing the set first. Example call is CFNA to voicemail through auto attendant or set is called and CFNA to voicemail.
This is also tested in my lab.
