How can I make a photo feather like when there is a blurred/feathered outline on a photo? Thanks.

Hi,

SELECT > LOAD SELECTION
SELECT > FEATHER (set your pixel width)

Or you could use a layer mask.

This doesn't work. Load Selection is grayed out. What to do now?

It sounds like you are working on the background you will need to first convert it to a layer. Window -> Layers double click on the background and select ok.

Hi,

You can also load a selection via the shortcut - Hold Ctrl/Command and click on the layer and that will load the selection too, but as Perrin says if you are working on a background layer you will need to unlock/make the layer first before it will work.
