fdsw error message

Hi
After install a anti virus software i now can not open any application or even get to regedit as the following error appears

Can not locate fdsw
c:
This is required to open applications

can any one please advise me on this as i would presume it's a file permission problem but can not get to anything on the gui only via dos.

Fdsw.net is a gambling site, you may have adware/spyware/foistware running on your computer.

Download and run Adaware from here:

Simon, download exefix08.com from below into any folder then doubleclick on it and run it. See if that fixes it. Then uninstall the av program and reinstall it.
