Hello,
I hope some one can help me out I'm having an issue with calls that are transfered from one set to another on the same switch will not go to voicemail but back to the person that transfered the call. If someone calls the DID number from the outside it will go to voicemail and if the DN is dialed from the Auto Attendant it goes to the voicemail as well.

Voicemail is Callpilot 201i

Correct, the RTIM 60 30 30 only applies to Attendant extended calls. Post your CDN 1616 and the actual Mail queue that the CPO Agents are in. That was a question I was not an expert in.

I have tried to change the HUNT and FDN to both 1617 which is the express messaging and also 5500 which is the ACDN of the Callpilot. Its weird that if you dial the extension from the Auto Attendant or use their DID it does go to voicemail.

Here is more info on the CDN 1616

The Agents are in Queue 5500, yet the DFDN is pointing to 5501. That is beyond my pay grade I guess.

Create a CDN that DFDNs to 5500, then set the FDN to that new CDN.

I'm guessing here cause I do not have a CP system to look at.

I would still like to know how the CDN should be built.

GHTROUT.com - Help for Nortel Meridian/CS1000 System Administrators

Well, I created an CDN 2400 and pointed the DFDN to 5500. Now if I call through the DID it just rings, from the AA it just rings and when transfered it goes back to the person that did the transfer like before.

What software relase is the PBX?

Try this:

In the LD 15 RDR, set these:

MDID YES
NDID YES
MWFB YES

Call Server / MAIN CAB
Version 2121
Release 3
Issue 00 +

I made the changes to
MDID YES
NDID YES
MWFB YES

and I'm still getting bounced back.

It reminds me of a time I replaced a Rolm with a Nortel. Users pressed Conference to transfer, but rather than waiting for an answer, they just pressed it again, keeping the call on their own phone. They thought the call was coming back to them but it actually never left. I gave them CLS ARHA and intructed them on "Transfer" vs. "Conference"

Another thought is the softkeys on the telephones are not matched with the software of the PBX - a FDLU L S C U (the TN) might fix it.

Lastly, is Park getting used somehow where the user means to use Transfer or Conference.

Sorry for the long delay in answering. I have run some tests today to see what happens when I try different things.

Transfer to 1616 - allows me to get the message asking for mailbox.

On the phone Im transfering to busy the two DNs and then transfer and it goes to the mailbox.

Set CFW to 1616 and it goes to voicemail

Changed the FDN to another DN and it bouces back to the Reception. When calling from internally without an external caller it forwards to the programmed DN.

I hope these tests might help troubleshoot this issue.
