Fax's and modems don't answer

I have just installed a consono cabinet MD110 with ELU29 cards. Power cards are RG5DC. All cards are within spec for BC12 SP10 which is the version I have.

My problem is none of the fax's or modems answer even though when I plug a normal analogue phone on the line the phone rings.

Any assistance please?

Try to set ICAT=1008 for analog fax and moden

After a good nights sleep (5 hours) I worked it out..... swapped polarity on the analogue lines and the fax modems answered every time.


The old KISS principle at work....
