Faxing from Windows??

Does anyone know a way to fax from windows. I am looking for the ability to fax from any office97 and/or office2k appplication, as well as, from win98 and/or win2k. Thanks for any suggestions.

mircosoft fax is on the windows 98 cd under old and there always winfax pro, bitware and a lot of other good programs. one might have com with your modem check.

Microsoft fax is somewhat cluncky. It doesn't allow for attachments, besides the cover sheet. Winfax takes up a lot of memeory and we have had a lot of issues with it, but it produces a better fax more effeciently. The fax facility with the WinXP is apparently a lot better than the 2000 or prev. Good Luck!

I would advise you to get the ultimate software namely SUPERVOICE it's quite nise & not very expensive ...donot forget to install the drivers for Windows' version that you have first & it will solve your problem.....all the best
