Hi All,

Running a IPO 500 V2 with R7.0(31) software.
Client recently moved from analogue trunks to SIP.
This is where my problem lies.

for my fax, i created an incomming call route pointed to my fax analogue extension.
In extension values, i have adjusted this to be a fax extension.

in my sip trunk however, Fax Transport Support is greyed out and in the T38 Fax Tab, i can then obviously not do any changes.

I can however send faxes from my fax extension, but can not receive at all. the call comes in on the call route and the extension answers, but there is no handshake to send the fax.

Any assistance would be highly appreciated.

Turn the speed down to 9600, un-tick "Default" in the T38 page to release the settings. This will force the incoming call to handshake at 9600 which will work better over SIP.

@Sneaker, Yes it was originally a standard telephone, but i chenged it to see if it could possibly help.

I will make a trace available soonest.

@Hairless. I cannot change any settings on the T38 page, not even use Default....and on the Voip page, Fax Transport Supported is also greyed out..

You need to turn on "reinvite"
If this option is turned off then no fax settings :)
But we have issues with 7.0 and faxes but on 8.x it works fine for us.

BAZINGA!
