fax to email

Does anyone have any info on fax to email on a nortel BCM 50 3.0. I can't seem to find any information on setting up and what is needed.

Pretty much the same as the previous versions.
Read the "CallPilot Fax Set Up and Operation Guide" in Bcm50 rel3 documentation.The pdf file is NN40080-301_03.01_CPFXSUOG.pdf
In Master index it's under "Call Pilot" then "Call pilot fax setup and operation guide.
You need licenses for UM,install the UM client,setup mailbox and password and assign a target line under "express messaging line" of your mailbox.
Don't forget to put the callpilot dn as the prime set of your target line.

So it doese need a PRI or DID does it. That is what I was wondering. This means it will not work on analog lines correct?

I never tried using analog trunks but it should work.
I don't think the express messaging line has to be on PRI only.
We use PRI because of the flexibility.If you want 10 users to have individual fax messaging, it's much easier with a PRI.

I agree with gberger, but it would be like a dedicated fax line, although it would make it to your Inbox.
