We wish to use Microsofts fax server to connect upto 8 analogue lines (one for each department).
The fax server would need to route faxes outbound to a particular analogue line attached to the server on a modem port depending on the ‘fax device’ the user can see on their control panel.
I.e. If someone from dept1 sent a fax from their outlook/word, etc., it would be sent out on modem port 1.
If someone from dept2 sent a fax from their outlook/word, etc., it would be sent out on modem port 2.
Etc….
It would also need to route faxes inbound to a dedicated mailbox depending on the analogue line (modem port) it received it on.
I.e if someone sent a fax into dept1 fax line on modem port 1 it would be sent to a dedicated mailbox.
If someone sent a fax dept2 modem port2 it would be sent to their dedicate mailbox.
I found some info from the MS site:
Any Ideas on how to achieve this?
Cheers
