Hello,
We have an option 81C and I have asked by the managment to get a quote for aT1/PRI brooktrout fax card. My question is that from your experience what is a working solution for this king of setup?. The card type needed. The software that is running on your server. I will be integrating the fax server on an internaly PRI card. any hints or a how this can be done will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.

I feel like a million bucks!
This thing can send and receive faxes now!!!!!
It turns out that every time I busied out the board and released it, it was trying to synch up with the brooktrout card, but couldn't. I finally got all the protocols right in the board jumpers, the firmware, and my DS1 settings. Using B8ZS and ESF, by the way, thanks to your suggestion.

Thanks!!

Josh

ok, i starred you...
Now I'm stuck again. Can you post the config line in your digital.cfg file for the brooktrout board? And do you remember the jumper settings you used on the TR114? I have the settings correct for B8ZS and esf. It seems like my fax software GFI Faxmaker is not releasing the lines, or maybe there's a protocol problem. i got it to receive a few faxes, and then all the trunk members stayed busy, like they didn't get released after use.

Thanks!
Josh

We used a different software "Genifax" from Omtool. I can't help you there dude. My IT people set up the server side. I'm the telephone guy. I'll see if I can get that info. Have you tried BrookTrout Tech Support? The vendor that sold you the software should be able to help too.
