Fax Problem

We just installed some new lines and everything is working except the fax lines. We have a dial tone, but when it dials out it starts to go through and then we get a "fast busy" signal. Any ideas???

It sounds like you have to dial a digit like 9 before the actual number. also check your tgar and ncos.

Yes, I do dial 9, but it won't go through. My TGAR and NCOS are set correctly.

Do you have any other Fax’s onsite that work properly? If so, print out both TN's and do a side-by-side comparison for any discrepancies. Otherwise out the one that doesn't work and rebuild it copying it from the one that does work.
