Fax Over SIP

Dear Friends,
I have HandyTone-286 device to conncet Fax from this to the NEC 2000IPS,which works on VOIP,i have connected it througha 8IPLA,and i am getting the dial tone. i am not able to register it on web browser when i am entering it into the IP address,i am usuing Static IP. anybody has worked on it?it requires SIP sever does 2000IPS has SIP Server?how can i connect it?

The IPS can do SIP Trunking using the 8IPT card.

somethings to consider and research is what protocol do you need and what is supported.
