Fax messaging/bcm400 1

Hello,

I have a BCM400 3.7 with unified message/fax messaging. I programmed the express messaging line with a did which works. But when I call it plays the users message. I am trying to get the CNG to play. I had a subcontractor fix the issue. He said he had to ativate fax messaging through the command line line to get it working. So my question is has anybody done this? If so what is that command line?

I have a BCM 1000e with 3.6 and others with 3.5.
How do I get to the command prompt? Do I have to connect directly to the BCM? With 2.5 I could access the Windows OS from the Unified Manager interface. Where is the access point now?

You can use telnet, putty, or connect via a serial cable to access the CLI.
