Fax line from dmarc... 1

Just for clarification...I have a branch w/ an 8x24, & am having a new fax line added to the dmarc. Fax lines do not go through the phone system correct? I can jump from dmarc straight to appropriate jack?

It doesn't have to go through the 824 unless you want to use it as a backup line. Otherwise just take it straight to a jack.
