Fax issue

OK - A long time back I started this thread: thread 798-1210588

Basically We have a PRI at a High School, I have a DID off that PRI at an Elementary School.

The DID is directed to the other site via a CDP to the WAN rout looked at a NRS server.

I have the EXT on the 500 set with FAXA.

However, I get repeated inbound complaints. After about 36 seconds, the line drops off/ the sender gets "error on Recieving end".

I have searched thread after thread and I can not find anything that would be dramatically different to cause this issue... Thoughts?

If the fax machine is not T.38 compliant, then you need to make sure you are using G.711 as your codec for calls to the fax machine.

what software using 4.0 0r 4.5 this both yes...updaye the latest patch, we had the same issue on our customer side.
