FAX DN forward to POTS line 2

I have a site in Oklahoma City (I'm in Vegas) that has opened up an annex building to their call center. This is temporary until January or February.

The group wants to take their FAX machine (DN 6054) with them, however there is no Meridian equipment being installed in this annex to keep it on the network.

I have tried to out the 500 set and rebuild 6054 in LD 23, setting NCFW to 9XXXXXXX (a cell phone for testing purposes) and MAXP to 1. When I dial 6054, it would say, "You have been forwarded to the voicemail system, however the user at extension 6054 does not subscribe to this service".

I have also tried to create a CDP DSC in LD 87 with a new RLI and DMI in LD 86. I DEL 10 and INST 1XXXXXXXXXX for the cell phone. All I got here was "Meridian Mail, Mailbox?" as if I had created a new access number for Meridian Mail.

I have also tried to HUNT with HTA in CLS but the cell phone never rings. I hear ringing on my end and the pause after 4 rings like it's being re-directed, but nothing comes through.

I even tried CLS=FNA, FTR=FDN but I got an SCH error. I tried FTR=CFW 16 but it doesn't allow me to enter in the number. As soon as I hit the space bar after the 16, it carriage returns back to ITEM.

What the heck am I doing wrong?

The system is an Option 11 Release 23. If Phantom is the way to go, I need full step-by-step instructions, as I've never built a phantom loop before from scratch. Thanks in advance.

Shroud, I had someone locally plug in an analog phone and do the #1 procedure. It worked so I guess I won't worry about the Phantom Loop not able to be programmed at this time. At least we have a viable workaround for the time being. Thanks to everyone.

Hi McGruff ,
Just some more insight in to Phantom TNs:

For option 11s, the phantom TN are assigned to superloops 64-80 which relates to TN ports 41-60.

Hope it helps...!

Thanks again, Shroud. This is really wierd. I looked up a previous post that stated option 11's are in the 96-112 range and Phantom Loop 96 worked on my option 11 with succession 3.0 in Vegas, yet, after reading your post, I was able to create Phantom Loop 64 in OKC's switch. Good ol' Nortel. Nothing like consistancy. :)
