Hello, I need help with fax and IP Office V2. I have analog lines and a fax, no SIP or anything. Two things I want to know.
[ul]
[li]I read that you can do an Auto Attendant with a delay time to receive the fax tone first and after that it rings. Can anyone give me any pointers on how to configure that. [/li]
[li]I also want to know is how to connect said line to the IP Office. Can I split the line on a patch panel and connect the fax to the same line or does the fax connect to the IP Office? Any help is appreciated.[/li]
[/ul]

Thank you.

The Fax Machine will be an analog station on the IP Office
The Fax Line's Incoming Call Route is directed to an automated attendant
The voice destination is the Fallback destination for the same ICR
The AA has no greeting on it, the F destination is the Fax extension.
Set the AA's timeout to perhaps 4 seconds.

Call rings in. AA answers. Fax tone detected, and the call is transferred to the Fax machine extension. No fax tone heard, the call rings to the fallback destination. The voice caller hears two rings generated by the telephone company (or one if you turn ICLID off), then silence, then internal ring-back. Hopefully they don't get too confused and hang up!!
