Faulty Trunk

Hi Guys,

I knw & understand that, this is a holiday period whereby we need to rest however some of us we not.

Please help me. a week back I went to 1 of my client to resolve Mitel issue & when I get there investgated what was the issue.Anyhow I discovererd that 1 trunk(54) is disfunctional - whenever they call cellphone numbers this trunk is the first to process a call.

I tested by dialing **2 00 & the trunk number(54) to check but the was nothing.

Is it the way to make this trunk to be oparational.

Controller is 3300 ICP MX

try going to the Maintenance Commands and do a stat of the plid that represents that trunk. Should give you an indication of what's going on.

To get the PLID for that, Stat the PLID of the card and it should bring up all the trunks

I assume **2 is your Individual Trunk Access Code? Please confirm.
I assume these are analog trunks? Please Confirm.

If you received nothing, that means either it is dead from the CO or you don't have the trunk connected.

your faulty digital trunk? That would be either bad hardware, or a telco issue. What is the trunk programmed on
1-nsu
2-embedded t1 card
3-asu
4-embedded module

tough to sort this out without that info
