Can somebody tell where is the problem when fault code 300 occurs (digital trunk, seize acknowledge not received). Configuration is BC10, TLU76 via 2Mb CAS link to provider with AXE switch.

ask the switch to check on their line..there are no signal to indicated the trunk is seize.surely will be the seting on the AXE.

Hi !
Here is two fault code descriptions

1. Fault code description
Seize acknowledgement has not been received within stipulated time or bit b in the signalscheme = 0 before end of selection signal has been received. The fault remains until seize acknowledgement is received or when release guard is received.
Inform the instance responsible for the line.

2. Fault code description
Bit b in the signalscheme = 1 in 1 - 2 seconds after seize acknowledgement has been sent and before end of selection has been sent. The fault remains until clear forward is received.
-------

At present there are two signalling principles used in ASB 501 networks. The division in principles is based on how the signals are transmitted in relation to the speech channels they belong to. The division is sort of a division in old and new.
CAS Channel Associated Signalling
This is the traditional principle for signalling.
To each speech channel belongs a fixed and unambiguously defined signal path:
„h either attached to the speech channel, i.e. the signals are transmitted with the speech channel.
This is called inband signalling.
„h or associated with the speech channel, i.e. the signals are transmitted in an own signal channel separate from the speech channel.
This is called outband signalling.
In other words: Speech and signals travel together.
There is a big variety of different signalling techniques used in CAS, in some cases inband and outband signalling are combined.
CCS Common Channel Signalling
The speech channels use a common data link for transmission of all signals. A signal is transferred as a signal message to which an address is tied. The address states which speech channel the signal belongs to.
In other words: Speech and signals travel independently, both in time and media.
ISDN and DPNSS are examples of signalling systems using CCS.

I hope that this help you !!

Thanks for the answers, and I have another question.
On the same route with command SUSIP:ROU=1,TRU=ALL; I often got NOPROGRESS traffic state. Can these two events be related, and what exactly state NOPROGRESS means?

hi !
here is some explanation of the case ...

TRAFFIC STATE
Line-individual state for each external line.
Can be one of the following:
IDLE,
REGISTER,
BUSY,
NOPROGRESS,
CALORG (call from originator),
SPEECH,
EXLLINCON (external trunk/tie line connected,
OTGCAL (outgoing call),
PARKED,
RESERVED,
SSPCBUSY (static semi-permanent connection busy) or
SSPC (static semi-permanent connection)

Noprogress indication. In error situations or when the other party clears the call different types of release indications or release signals can be selected for certain extensions such as paging and answering machines or Release Link Trunks.

quick question, why are u dumping the system twice????????

This is surely not going to solve your problem.

What revision of cards are they. Which cards are they, which country are you in? If your running the latest revision of card (TLU76 im thinking). More then likely, if the cards have been changed your going to be looking at an exchange fault. get the carirer to test the service and see if there is anything wrong on their end.
