Fatal Exception Error OE 0167:BFF9DFFF

I receive the following message:
Fatal Exception Error OE 0167:BFF9DFFF
on a few computers, all Windows 98 SE, 2 different LAN's, all run Office 2000 Professional, all have McAfee ASAP installed, I searched the internet, but couldn't find any answers.
Any ideas what this means, my users getting very frustrated.

Howdy:

Do a search for normal.dot (Word template).. When you find it, delete it. Word will rebuild it next time you start up.

I actually have the same thing, this happened to this PC on Tuesday. I actually have the same configuration you have to, it doesn't help to delete the normal.dot.

I can't even get into windows if gives me this error when I start up the computer.

Anybody have any ideas, I need help.

Turning off graphics acceleration might help.
Right click My Computer. Select Properties. Select Performance Tab. Set graphics acceleration to None.
