not to sure about LT but you should be able to specify the location of autocad temp files. the default location is C:\WINDOWS\TEMP
check to see if the specied temp file directosy is read only or not by selecting it then right clicking on it...
if the specified directory does not exist then either specify a different directory or create the proper directory...
