Fatal error c000021a after update

I get a blue screen error after updating my sms w2k3 server.

Any suggestions?

just what is posted above. This error occurred after applying the most recent updates. It's an HP proliant DL 380 G2 running sms.

So how far along ont he startup process do you get? can you determine where it is failing?

I get windows 2003 splash then a grey screen for a second and then bang! blue screen of death

OK, before that point can you hit F8 and get the menu for safe mode?

I can get to the safe mode menu but I can not go into safe mode.

Hmm, I think you may be stuck with N0ktar's suggestion and call Microsoft for assistance. You are going to need do somehow debug the blue screen.
