Hi all,

C3048 is not mentioned in the Clipper 5.3 error doc.

I know, what it means but I don't know how to get rid of it. Is it the only option to make the .ch smaller by deleting lines?

I'm using FiveWin which comes with a large .ch file.

Many thanks for any help
Christian

1-What are you working on: 98, ME, 2K, or XP?
2-How are you doing your edit/compile/link loop, with a batch file?

Hi Tracy,

thanks for your answer.

W2K, batch file calling rmake executing a simple make file:

#include def_file - define macros
#include create_lib_file - create the lib file (files that make the lib file and rule to create the library with borland's tlib)
#include create_app_file - create the application (rules to compile & link)
list of object files to create
rule to create the exe file

Clauer-

Have you tried setting the workspace for rmake? I have to do this to avoid environment errors.

Example: RMake Myapp.rmk -XW2304

The 2304 is the amount of space to allocate rmake-see the rmake docs for a better explaination.

Did this problem just start or is this a new install? I use Clip4Win 4.0 with Clipper 5.3b and have developed what I feel is a very simple method for doing the edit/compile/link process via batch file. I would share if needed.

Best Regards,
David Tracy
