FasT600 and AIX !

Hi all !
We are configuring FastT600 connected to AIX host
We create 1 logical drives on the FastT600 and we connected to AIX host and reboot the host. Logical drive on FastT seem to appear double on AIX host.

hdisk2 and hdisk8 have the same physical name (hdisk2) !
We configured only 1 logical drive on FastT but it appear 2 disk on AIX
We see no error message but we need to know it is normal or we need to re-configure it before we install the application software on it.
Can anybody help me?

I just took delivery of a Fast 600 and am looking on how you did the setup, and config. Any info you can share would be great.

Just follow the guide book exactly
Carefully about RDAC driver version, some fileset you have to download from Internet (not in the AIX CD-ROM)
FastT600 don't have some feature like being guide in the books
I will help you better if you describe your equipment configuration

What I've got is an P570 and a DS4300. I have been looking for the RDAC and can't find it on the the IBM site. Would you have the link by chance? Also which book did you use. For some reason the book we have is only windows. Hopefully I can download the manual in PDF

Update AIX to the latest Maintenance Level
Some RDAC driver is in Maintenance Level
You can go to the following link to download the latest RDAC driver:
